Hey mate, what exactly is it that you are unsure about with regards to the options?

Yes, you are correct that purchasing options instead of shares will give you more exposure to ESI.

Yes, you are correct that both the As and Bs expire on 31 July 2017.

In terms of what you should do - I can only tell you what I have done myself, and why. Use it as you like (or don't use it at all! ).

I only bought shares in the company on 16 April 2015. As the share price dropped, I averaged down. Then as I did more and more research in to the company (assisted by the articles posted on HC by various posters), I felt that gaining more exposure through the options was a good idea, so I sold half of my shares, and bought twice as many options, hence increasing my exposure by around 50%, without increasing my initial capital outlay.

I didn't want to sell all my shares and double my exposure to ESI just in case company announcements/developments produced a situation where shareholders were in a better position than optionholders.

After all, I am pretty sure that in one of the company announcements ECT mentions that they are working towards strategies to maximise shareholder value, and I didn't want to miss that

    Good luck!
