I have found forums such as this a great help in learning about share trading. You will find a lot of people more than happy to help out.
I recommend choosing 2 or 3 stocks and read all the posts whilst tracking their performance and staying abreast of their announcements and the industry they are involved in as a whole. Sometimes it even helps when you have invested money in the company because you'll tend to be more analytical and dedicated.
I have found the ASX website to be of little help to me. The posts from experienced traders are invaluable, although don't believe everything you read and trust everyone you come across.
