By the way, silence—when combined with delay—gives the people behind Biotron (BIT) and C14 a significant strategic advantage. More often than not, their prolonged silence seems to result in the convenient forgetting of essential business responsibilities, such as timely capital raising or transparent communication with shareholders.

Why is their silence so steep, so deafening, that it causes them to overlook core responsibilities? One possible answer is that the silence is not accidental—it’s intentional. It may be a deliberate tactic to secure undue advantages at the expense of shareholders and public accountability.

Possible Undue Advantages Gained Through Silence and Delay:

    • Continued payment of salaries and consulting fees to executives and advisors (such as C14) despite a lack of commercial outcomes or measurable progress.

    • Avoidance of external scrutiny by using vague terms like “commercial in confidence” to delay or withhold information that should be disclosed to shareholders and regulators.

    • Opportunity for insiders to benefit from discounted capital raises, acquiring large volumes of shares at prices (e.g., 0.3c) far below what long-term shareholders originally paid—effectively transferring value from existing shareholders to insiders.

    • Maintaining control over the company despite underperformance, by keeping shareholders uninformed, disorganised, and unable to mobilise for change.

    • Reduced accountability for management, as delays and silence mask operational failures such as poor financial planning, failed CRO oversight, or lack of strategic execution.

    • Timing announcements to suit internal interests, including selectively releasing news when it benefits insiders rather than the market—such as just before or after raising capital.

    • Allowing shareholder fatigue to work in their favour, making it harder for investors to hold the board accountable as many give up or disengage.
