You make some fair points — shareholders ultimately carry the responsibility for their investment decisions, and share ownership does come with inherent risks. However, it’s also true that listed companies have obligations around transparency, governance, and honest disclosure, which regulators like ASIC and the ASX are meant to oversee.

Raising concerns about accountability is not about shifting blame but about ensuring that directors and executives are held to the standards they are legally required to meet. Investors must make their own decisions, yes — but they should do so based on truthful, timely, and complete information, not in an environment where misconduct or negligence goes unchecked.

Given the circumstances, why don't the regulators put a moratorium on any payment to the Board of Directors and CEO until clear, measurable outcomes are delivered? When 99% of shareholder value has been destroyed, it is not unreasonable to expect immediate action.
