You reckon Clive had "sensible policies" do you Lux? I didn't hear a single actual policy from his little mouthpiece. Just ridiculous attempts to trick and bribe gullible people. So which policies did you think were great?

Was it the one where they said we should put tariffs on our own exports of iron ore to make China pay off our debts? For the ignorant out there those are called mining royalties and we already have them FFS but nobody told big Clive and the blondie.

Was it the one where they promised to magically cap interest rates at 3% LOL? How the fook do they think that works. Much of the money that we borrow comes from overseas. Our banks don't just print money to lend out. They borrow it. Imagine Aussie banks trying to raise money on the international bond markets so they have cash to lend to house buyers and being bound by law to lend the resulting money out at a maximum of 3%. How would Aussie banks get the money to keep lending? Why would they even bother lending since they would need to borrow the money themselves at less than 2% in order to be able to lend it out at 3%. People would just put their money elsewhere with higher returns and it would become impossible to get a mortgage because the banks would have no money to lend. Only communist states which control everything can implement such things. How idiotic.

How about just forgiving loans. Don't worry the rest of the taxpayers will foot the bill for the money that you chose to borrow. Yep, the people who didn't get the opportunity to get a degree in medicine and get a high paying job get the honor of repaying the debts for those brain surgeons, lawyers and political activists with those art degrees that they chose to do.

Yep, all brilliantly thought out stuff Lux. If calling stupid stuff stupid makes me a "traditionalist" then I'll take your comment and say "thanks" !
