ANZ in their haste to act first and worry about the consequences later may of sold into the market additional shares that were perhaps outside of their claimed proportion.

ANZ Nominees 14,273,148 shares - 12.6%
Todays ASX release titled ANZ Opes Prime Disclosure:
ANZ Nominees 16,484,931 shares - 14.9%
Considering the volumes traded last week, an ANZ oversell (+2M shares) maybe a distinct possibility.
