View Additional ProfilesHOUSTON, July 1, 2009 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Holloman Energy Corporation (OTCBB:HENC) ("the Company"), announces the appointment of Mark Stevenson as President and CEO.
Mr. Stevenson accepted the Company's chief executive role as part of a strategic response to increased activity surrounding its Australian oil interests. Likewise, former CEO Grant Petersen was appointed Vice President - Business Development. In his new role, Mr. Petersen will spearhead efforts to identify and formalize exploration partnerships focused on the Company's Cooper Basin reserves.
Mr. Stevenson (age 54) is also Chairman of the Company's Board of Directors, and Chairman and CEO of Holloman Corporation, the Company's largest shareholder. For more than 30 years, Mr. Stevenson has served Holloman Corporation in a variety of positions including: Chairman of the Board, CEO, Vice President - Pipeline Division, Chief Estimator and Field Construction Engineer.
