I hoselty probably couldnt heap enough money on the table; if MEL turns out some good results in the future, or at least some indications of better prospects.
I believe MEL is a monster sleeping.
Known stimulation with by-analogy known stimulatable-reservoirs. A match made in risk lovers heaven.
There is some truths to what huaneng says about MELs go slow approach. It is entirely possible they could gear up to expend their remaining capital on really testing the conventional reservoir - and then on successful results - go for the mother of all cap raisings, or perhaps more likely to divest a proportion of their asset. But still, I prefer their seemingly softly softly approach, for now.
BHP making noises about a carbon price should be resonating inside DJ and GMs head about gearing up to go go go though.
