Oh dear. Now how did we all miss this news? Orthocell's global Striate partner moving into orthopedics:

The Company today announced that it has signed an agreement to acquire a majority interest inTriMed, Inc., a global developer of solutions for the orthopedic treatment of lower extremities (foot and ankle) and upper extremities (primarily hand and wrist).
Headquartered inSanta Clarita, CA, TriMed had 2022 net sales of approximately$48 million. The transaction is subject to certain regulatory approvals and closing conditions, and is expected to be completed in the first quarter of 2024. Henry Schein expects the transaction to be neutral to 2024 non-GAAP earnings per share and accretive thereafter. Financial terms were not disclosed.
In addition, Henry Schein has entered into a strategic relationship withExtremity Medical LLC, an innovative medical device company focused on developing new products for fusion, fixation, and motion preservation in the orthopedic treatment of the lower extremities and wrist. Headquartered inParsippany, NJ, Extremity Medical will operate as a separate, stand-alone company.
Orthocell's partner in Striate is moving more into the orthopedics markets. Now these two companies specialise in surgical implants, particularly bone grafts and fusion/fixation implants, a bit of a jump to ATI and Remplir, but it wasn't really present in the orthopedic implants area prior to this either. Its existing presence relatively limited in this area:

Anyone else joining the dots of possibilities here.....? Now I'd much rather OCC negotiate a sales partnership with a more mainstream supplier in Remplir in the US and a bigger pharma in ATI, but perhaps worthwhile keeping an eye on Henry Schein's ventures into the field of orthopedics.
