Has Rudd lost all sense of reality? Why would he try to persuade the Super industry to agree to his Super Tax, when such a tax would have a deleterious effect on their returns. Does he really believe that none of these funds would not have significant holdings in the companies that he now wants to 'rip off'?
It's a typical public servant approach to problem solving:
'Kill the goose that laid the golden egg.'
