I agree that the government should undertake sampling of everyone which would have confidential and for the person's own benefit. It was necessary to control TB. It was and is necessary to control HIV. The problem is that the gay rights groups have controlled the agenda here and is now thought that population testing is somehow unethical. If this had been done at the time of the outbreak, we could have prevented almost all new cases. I hold the gay rights groups and the spineless govts and health authorities responsible for these new cases.

So anyway, I feel that everyone should be tested for Hep C also so that they know and then can help prevent transmission and make decisions regarding treatments (which are available).
