The results to date certainly justify the need for Ph2b's , with bigger sample groups across different genotypes. This will also give us the chance to tweak the dosage for longer periods, with hopefully partnered trails that are Interferon free, and include protease and polymerase inhibitors.

BIT225 needs to be developed alongside the new SOC( whatever that might be). It was always going to be a combined treatment, so you can’t just argue that protease and polymerase inhibitors are superior, and that BIT225 has missed the boat like rgc68 has done.( Every big pharma wants a piece of the HCV market) Remember BIT225 doesn’t destroy the virus; it targets the P7 protein and stops the virus replicating/reproducing again. This is what SOC has struggled with…. And this is what big pharma are looking for. ALL NEW TREATMENT METHODS.

We also have the extra value for potentially treating HIV/HCV co affected patents, which looks very appealing to big pharma- this could even be the next big deal/decider in the market place.....
