Further more clarification on the recent announcement-

Investigator Sponsored Studies are defined as unsolicited research originating from an external sponsor entity, institution or organization and include studies also known as investigator sponsored trials (IST).

    Also-

A sponsor-investigator is an individual who both initiates and conducts an investigation, and under whose immediate direction the investigational drug is administered or dispensed. A sponsor-investigator is responsible for all regulatory requirements as both a sponsor and an investigator.

I know some of the posters on this forum understand this but for the new investors, basically, this is good news that a company/individual is bankrolling one of the studies... Their name will have to come out in the wash sometime soon. Let's hope these trials have been designed already and almost ready for FDA approval. We can only hope it's a big pharma company with a blockbuster drug to pair it with.

Pure speculation but Merck and Roche has teamed up and been granted accelerated approval for Keytruda & Herceptin combo in gastric cancer.

Imagine if Merck will run this next phase 2 trial with Hervaxx alongside their Keytruda to maintain a greater market share while gathering data from their recently approved combo - we can only hope.

Still good things ahead in my opinion.
Remember folks, comparable to Herceptin without the side effects.
