There will be 1 big winner out of this and the sub prime crisis ... the big 4 banks. Investors/borrowers must be shaking in their boots at the moment. eg:
1. Opes Prime collapse
2. Securitised Lenders like Macquarie and Maxis withdrawing from the market whilst those remaining have hiked borrower rates through the roof
3. "Financial Investment" vehicles like MFS and Allco hitting the wall
4. Countless unlisted Investment vehicles going under (eg: Henry Kay, Westpoint and many, many others)
This is not healthly, but I know who will be controlling my money for ever and a day (PS ... I trade through Commsec).
There will be 1 big winner out of this and the sub prime crisis...
