I totally agree with your comments SRV.

Lynas would be one of if not the worst at keeping its long suffering shareholders regularly informed and in a timely manner.

Even when they do make an announcement, they intuitively post good news with a negative sentiment.

Take the 6ht January "Operations Update" for example.

The opening paragraph states. "Lynas Corporation (ASX:LYC, (OTC:LYSDY) provides the following update regarding the Lynas Advanced Materials Plant (LAMP) in Malaysia."

Most people wouldn't read beyond to opening paragraph.... another boring update.

The most well received market updates start with a series of bulleted highlights and the open with a statement along the following lines... "The Lynas Corporation is pleased to provide details regarding the Lynas Advanced Materials Plant (LAMP) in Malaysia.".

They haven't learnt the basics of marketing communications 101.

So basic

1/ Tell them what your going to tell them (the bulleted highlights focussing on the positives)

2/ Tell them in some detail (the guts of the announcement)

3/ Tell them what you have told them and when to expect the next update (a succinct summary at the end emphasising the positives again.)

Really it's not that difficult is it.
