To begin - I don't count myself as an expert on gold mining or even investment. Your points about the value of the company are interesting. My concerns are summed up in the following questions about management:
- do they have a solid record of doing what they say?
- what is the growth story beyond the life of the existing mine?
I read a lot of stuff about what they "might", "gunna" do from both management and company fans on this forum. Believe me, I want them to succeed, but I will believe it when they do it. I'm not interested in all the wonderful reasons explaining why they haven't been able to deliver to date. They have a duty to the owners of the company to get the share price up and to do that they must deliver. Up to this point they have failed their shareholders and no amount of words changes that.
My message to management - prove me wrong.
