I sold given the delay and heres an example as to why :-

COE had good oil shows on one well and ran from under 80 cents to 145 cents as prodn testing figures were waited on which got delayed. Those that sold during tis delay got better than 120 cents. Those that waited for the evntual poor results got under 80 cents before too long.

This is just an example but delays mean bad news 90% of the time. Of course CVN could be the 10% this time that does well but in the long term one should respect the 90% rule.

Against this CVN has lots more news to come on other scenarios so ones long term and short term trading styles may affect ones trading decisions in this regard.
