    That's an entirely different topic.

    Government's aren't particularly efficient & will never be as productive as the private sector. Australian governments have an appalling track record of wasting money, just this week it was announced that $108m was wasted on trying to get a nuclear storage facility at Kimba.
    So yes we should have a focus on reducing waste in all governments & rechanneling savings into services.
    However it doesn't matter how much money you are able to save it still won't be enough to solve the structural deficit.

    So that takes you back to either cutting services in the future or raising taxes.

    Unfortunately Australians want everything provided for them but don't want to pay for any of it.
