I think it's so pathetic that Australians are unable to have any sort of mature discussion about taxation.

The simple fact is that taxation needs to increase going forward to cover the increasing cost of the population living longer, something we will all contribute to eventually.

If not inheritance tax where is it going to come from?

I don't have an issue with IT if the limit was set at say $2.0m
I also don't have an issue with raising the GST to 15% or scrapping negative gearing.
