so totally agree it's world wide, prices are falling in most parts why do people think it wont happen in australia

on the gold coast prices soared in the early 90's when the japanese came over investing, they got seriously burnt and lost, out prices stagnated and went down for a 10 year period after that, only came good when investors stopped looking at sydney and started to diversify and prices soared,could of bought a 3 bdr townhouse at robina for $125,000 in 2004, 4 years later $320,000
just ridiculous considering on the gold coast our wages are very low compared to major cities
