The king has been the source of stability, the monarchy the strongest institution, is likely to become the weakest for years. I guess that leaves the army as the most powerful institution. Below that governments will come and go, bureaucracy remain in place, and there will be unrest from time to time.

Imho what we need for CVN is that a decision making government is in place, one that signs off on new permits etc. Even in periods where the goverment is in chaos I expect Thai pragmatism to prevail, and oil to continue to flow.

What happens if there is a double dissolution in Australia? or if Her Majesty The Queen roles another PM?

Most systems have quite a lot of resilience, even if we don't have the answers in advance.
