Firstly, many thanks to those who have posted their support and sent emails privately too ... it's always good to get some positive feedback.
Just to clarify my last post, as some traders were obviously confused ..... it was in reply to a barb that had been shot at me previously.
Also ..... consider this .....
Personalities aside, those HDR rampers, who were on this forum, at the highs on 04072001 have not made one cent on their "buy and hold" trade in HDR for the past 2 1/2 years ..... !~! Yes, that's right, more than two-and-a-half years of zero returns, in HDR.
From 04072001-to-15012004, HDR traded below 1.08 ..... that's a long time to have money "invested", in a trade with negative returns.
Sure, let them celebrate a return to a winning trade, but do not be taken in by those rampers, who promote a "buy and hold" strategy in HDR, as it will NOT make you money every year .....
..... and don't ask them about a trading plan or an exit strategy, because in 2001 they did not have either ..... maybe things have changed now ?
So again, at what level will the "buy and hold" crowd take their profits ..... ??
=====
Now, before they come back bleeding and bleating about traders missing the 2003 lows ... just check the HDR analysis posted, in Feb 2003, forecasting the March 2003 low, missed the actual low, by just one day.
..... you can find it, posted under "Files", at the AussieOilers site.
happy trading all
