It is possible that they could go a go-slow with the JV processing, but that would create a great deal of dissatisfaction amongst the punters who have bought in on the basis of a well-documented and committed timeline.
If they have already sealed the deal but then chose to hold that information back they would be in breach of the continuous disclosure obligations set by the ASX. That would be a seriously dumb thing for any director to do.
So no, I don't think they would delay things on purpose. I think that getting it done and coming out with good timeline to drilling will have the SP in a good place.
