The report in the Age notes:
"The results of the next trial are expected to be released in three years.
If successful, the company will then move to phase III trials in the United States, and seek US Food and Drug Administration approval"
Now wasn't PRR telling us that they were going to move into PhIII trials this year ?
We now are starting to see a more cautious and less costly two stage approach. Ph IIb (results in three years !!!) and then PhIII.
The cats out of the bag.....
The PhIIa results are not so significant that is why Biomira didn't elect. More trials are needed hence the PhIIb on not so sick patients Biomira didn't see the merit in bankrolling Cvac to commercialisation based on the risk of the Cvac treatment not reaching commercialisation. PRR have no alternative but to talk it up. If they don't then the company is worthless.
The big problem is money... How does a company with no money survive?
You are starting to see the Capital Raising process today and nothing else. It is a separate thing to the business of curing cancer.and making returns for the shareholders..
