    why would cnp's creditors want to carry them any longer in a climate of increasing interest rates?

    cnp certainly isn't too big to let fail. if i was a creditor i'd take what i could get now and let the devil take what was left.

    bottom line is cnp's mgt overreached by a country mile have made a fatal error
