Solar is no good with out battery tech
25 years = toxic land fill
wind - requires constant wind huge carbon cost to manufacture 30 years land fill
hydro electric - limited scalability
steel production will require met coal for the foreseeable future unless every steel mill in asia wants to under go complete redesign. Australian coal with low ash content will be in Huge demand ( china is preparing to fight deflation with massive Stimulus ( ie construction projects)
the future for Australian coal is bright. The banks and eco warriors will have you believing differnt.
the aim of the game is to make money and coal will continue to shin well into 2030
