You're all getting very angry and not making much sense. The fact is that the Indonesian authorities have nothing to do with the people smuggling trade.

To the people smugglers (much like drug runners) it's an economic opportunity. They weigh the risks and operate independently.

Thus people smugglers entering OUR waters does NOT equal an Australian Navy boat entering Indonesian waters.
