Hmmm...Which asset sale? There hasn't been one until it is officially announced. Think assets sales might have a slight effect on CNP I suggest you read Buffet's post. But in short keeping an asset you are receiving a 6.5% return on (as an example) but that you are actually paying 9.5% interest on makes no sense.
By selling assets and paying debt CNP increases it profitability and if they are sold at book value it’s gearing. No offence but read Buffet's post because if they manage a few successful asset sales we will be flying. Good luck and just hope we don't get an ASX announcement in that regard as you might miss the boat.
