Not to be confused with Tucker, above..
What is the point of this from the end of the media release and tucked away on the secone page?-
"The Underground Coal Gasification Process is very different from the extraction of Coal Seam Gas."
No other comment or explanation in the DErm release about that statement.
And this-
"The department?s monitoring program has confirmed that contaminants have not been detected outside the Cougar Energy site."
But they say this prior to that last statement-
"Ultimately Cougar has not been able to satisfy the department that it could recommence its operations without an unacceptable risk of causing environmental harm"
So, am i thick, or does that mean that because the department cannot detect contaminants outside the site there are no contaminants (including none in the aquifier)
therefore the company is at risk of causing environmental harm by not producing contaminants.
And what does that mean in relation to coal seam gas extraction. It must have some relevance or why would you put it in a press release.
If this is the way they conduct the clear dissemination of information, how do these donkeys keep their jobs?
You'd have to think the company would have a good chance in court.
