The Federal Government really should make it 'compulsory' for every Australian to be register with Centrelink, have an account set up and keep a live, up to date bank account registered in the system -
so, when the next disaster hits any person in the country - they don't have to go through all this setup stuff.
the last bonehead Morrison government didn't do it. Now, Albanese's mob haven't done it yet -
they should!
