Hence we own no US and Euro-linked shares.
All our property and share assets are in OZ.
It's not a safe haven. It's the Devil we know.
We keep a bank redraw on Hot Stand-By.
For days when Investor Sentiment rules.
So we can dollar-cost-average down.
On shares like CMW to up the yield.
I'm sentimental about Australia.
Hence I wrote a poem about it.
It's called "New South Tibet":

I love a sunburnt quarry,
Set in southern seas.
A vast enormous quarry,
For China and the Japanese.
We are fiercely independent,
It fills our hearts with pride.
As we guzzle Coca-Cola,
And eat Kentucky Fried.
As for asylum seekers,
Intolerance is our guide.
Refugees are needy and
The "Fair Go" has died.
