If that LWD tool is faulty then they have to do wireline logging to get conclusive results. A guy I just spoke to stated that they should know regardless of the faulty tool what is down there...and that being the case they must really think that there still could be hydrocarbons down there or they wouldnt waste the extra few days logging it and would have started rigging up yesterday for a P&A to saved some money.
