Noticed some comments from posters saying they wouldn't bother logging unless there was some hope or they thought results inconclusive.

Just to clear this up, it is standard practice to run logs on the open hole after drilling, this will happen regardless if the well is wet/dry/black.

The cuttings circulated to surface are examined on the rig while drilling. They would have a fair idea of what they have. Logging will be definitive.

In regards to P1000, although I wouldn't go as far in saying he was outwardly ramping as he provided very good technical information, and helped many cut thru the jargon. But as a holder himself this was mostly weighted as overly optimistic imho and did not highlight the negative risks enough.

That is not P1000s fault, this could have ended well on another day, but every investor needs to weigh up the information received here & make their own judgement.

Bottom line, don't invest in anything you do not understand.
