Agree bearman! We need to see a strategy. Just sitting on their hands saying Billabong will sell for a premium because its cool isn't working. Ideologies get old and outdated, as do surfers and their alternate lifestyle mantra. From what I've seen there is little from the board that inspires confidence! Kids are looking for youthful zest and something to differentiate them from the crowd. BBG has a quiver of brands that may meet this, RVCA for example, but its a crowded market!!! I work at a snow resort, and all the Billabong, Von Zipper, Element advertising banners are gone.... Costcutting??? Praying for a takeover, as at Qantas, is far from a solution to BBG's image problems. As post the last T/O offer, people get bored, and the SP will likely trickle down again if nothing eventuates in a few weeks. Check the chart. All the best to holders.
