I gain the impression all the directors of the 3 Aust listed companies plus Gulfsands are supremely confident with SD well. Hopefully their oozing confidence will become oozing, or better still flowing, oil.
My understanding it if commercial, the first 3 mths involves pump out oil to sell on the local mkt, whilst at the same time further defining the size of the reserve and the natural oil flow rate in the short and longer periods. There may even be some goodwill will the selling of oil on the local mkt. Keeping a good rapport within the country is more than just important.
My broker tells me to keep emotion from investment decisions, but even major funds managers get swept up in.
In gold mining investing, there does not seem to have the extremes that oil has. Gold involves many drilling testing results over a longer period of time. So the mkt interprets the information.
It's all very exciting and making life interesting. The idea of artificial pumping via a submersible pump, is a comforting one.
