Unlike you I do not have a branch manager or party whip. I am a Libertarian so I am not a member of any political party.

The fact remains the government expects a certain amount of tax receipts from the carbon tax. It has stated on numerous occasions this tax would hit around 500 companies.

Now it seems it is 180 with maybe 80 more. So half the companies they predicted. So does than mean these 180 plus 80 actually produce the amount of CO2 that was predicted for 500 companies thereby providing the predicted tax receipts?

Or will there be a substantial decrease in the predicted tax receipts?
