    And some lawn clippings are taxed while others are not?

    "We must now have naughty lawn clippings and good lawn clippings. Naughty lawn clippings come from Roma, good lawn clippings come from the Botanical gardens in Sydney.

    You can tell by just looking at them that they are bad.

    Yesterday the government provided the Senate with a list of 104 councils that may be liable for the carbon tax, this in addition to the 8 councils that were identified earlier this month. 89 of these 112 councils are located outside capital cities. Most councils will be liable due to the emissions from landfill sites."

    So, now there are 104 more councils that may be liable for the carbon tax. How clever - that's going to affect landlords, so rents will also rise - will Gillard also compensate low income renters? Or will this make more of our own homeless while Gillard continues to house boat arrivals who may not even be genuine refugees?

    And lefties think this tax will slip in unnoticed??? LOL
