    Hi desertpunter, there are plenty of mag anomalies around in the Gawler craton, they are not unusual. Plenty of different rock types contain a bit of magnetite to produce an anomaly - 99.9% (my stats analysis) of mag anomalies are not associated with any gold mineralisation. The targeted "Challenger" mineralisation does NOT have a strong mag anomaly, they are clutching at straws. Good luck!
