Hello BMN holders. I do not hold BMN but I do admire your FA vs TA discussion. I would like to throw in an analogy to a field in science. Do not ask me to extend or explain to nth degree this analaogy as it will only break down.
In chemistry there is the thermodynamics and kinetics discussion. Kinetics tells us how fast a reaction will go to an equilibrium given a set of conditions.
Thermodynamics will tell us where that equilibrium position is but it will not tell us whether it will go slowly or quickly to that equilibrium position.
FA is a bit like fundamental analysis. It will tell us from a variety of arguements whether a SP should be this or that from past experience but the market will only work at the speed which is not predicted by FA. TA is the measure of rate of change just like kinetics. This may be with respect to time or with respect to itself ie Pt & Fig. However TA does not say where point of equilibrium should be. This is best left to FA.
