SENETAS EXTENDS GLOBAL REACH THROUGH EXPANDED PARTNERSHIP WITH SIGNALGUARD

MELBOURNE - June 20, 2006: Senetas Corporation Limited (ASX:SEN), the world’s leading developer and supplier of high speed network encryption hardware, today announced it had extended its global sales potential after expanding its reseller agreement with New Zealand-headquartered SignalGuard International.

SignalGuard, specialists in secure voice and fax communications, have already sold a number of Senetas CypherNET high-speed network encryptors under an agreement dating from 2002.

Today’s expanded arrangement, announced by Senetas CEO, John DuBois and SignalGuard Managing Director Suzanne Honnor at CommunicAsia2006 in Singapore extends non-exclusive reseller rights to SignalGuard for Singapore, Indonesia, India, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Taiwan and selected countries as agreed.

Suzanne Honnor said SignalGuard, which has offices in Christchurch and Sydney plus 18 distributors globally, would initially specialise in government sales, extending to banking and financial institutions where SignalGuard already had relationships.

“We have already had success selling CypherNET encryptors and believe there are significant opportunities to expand the market in Asia as communications security becomes even more critical for governments and business. It is a logical extension of our solutions in voice and fax encryption to offer a total network encryption solution built to the highest global accreditation standards,” she said.

John DuBois said SignalGuard was the first of a series of partnerships to be announced over the next few months, which would strengthen Senetas’ market presence through the aggressive implementation of a multi-channel marketing strategy.
