I think that what pints is doing is giving us a kind of Reader's Digest version of what he regards as the basic tenants of Christianity which obviously appeal to him. I don't think it is meant to be an attempt at a study in comparative religions or to raise Christianity above anybody else's like @yasoooo constantly does with Islam (I could be wrong) - perhaps it would be appropriate to direct these sentiments at @yasoooo.
I know that I would find fantastic humans in all walks of life as well as ratbags from all religious persuasions, but would this tell me about the religions themselves. I think that a better way of investigating religions is to assess what they are currently doing for humanity.
