The announcement on Friday of extra funding had a very negative effect actually. The price was sitting around 30 most of the day - it closed at 27 on the announcement. If they are so close to break even flows as we are led to believe - why the need to top up the existing debt by a further 40%?
As to the bank doing its DD...aren't they (the bank) now being propped up by the Dutch Govt as a result of its previous poor performance?
