it may very well have beeen others directing how the ore is mined,maybe even the engineer with the boards blessing,telling the mining contractor to ignore the man,they are about to sack.
either way,engineers,running plants create engineering solutions daily to feed problems daily.
Was he asked,or did he say,the plants the way it is ,your stuck with it.I'm used to a more pro-active solution being found,with the greatest engineering challenges,being the most rewarding.
indeed if the problem was the feed being damp i.e. 10-15% moisture,the i believe even I could come up with simple options,that could reduce that,without having to dilute feed.then the plant could have run at half speed for the same production.That's what makes it all so sad to me.
either way,answers or no,it's a mess
