The judge denied the State of Arizona's motion to file an amicus brief in support of the Hualapai. Which really doesn't make any difference, since the brief is public record anyway and everyone knows the State's position. Anyone want to buy into a joint venture where mining is likely to face state government opposition, as well? I don't think so.
