So the federal office in charge of preserving historic sites sends a letter to BLM in May, and it is ignored.
The next step is for a hearing on whether a preliminary injunction can be issued, to prevent the start of drilling, before a full trial of all the issues. For a preliminary injunction, the Hualapai must show there will be immediate harm if it is denied; and that they are likely to win on the merits. Their best argument is on the recent hydrology reports that they have, and the outdated and irrelevant hydrology reports on which BLM relied.
