Mining companies don't pay any royalties to anyone for the minerals they extract from public lands. However, ranchers pay lease fees for using the same land to graze cattle. And no, the spring is not the only part of the complaint, there are many other issues. We'll see how the judge rules. For now, it's enough to see so many people who paid 26 cents for shares now worth less than 2 cents, to be livid about the prospects of losing even more.
