@ Pyschology As far as I am aware Ted Ballieu's family runs the stock broking firm however his interests are being held for him in a blind trust to eliminate any conflict of interest that may arise.

On a side note I am not against the idea of having politicians run our state (or country). I think that we could do well to be listening from people who are successful in their own right, and having them run things rather than some of the idiots we have now. As an example our planning minister who "shall remain planning minister for as long as he is the planning minister" anyway probably a view for another thread.
