I am sure you are having a go at us with your rhetorical questions.

Asking whether the ABC has a Labor/Greens bias is like asking whether the sky is blue or the Pope is Catholic.

Some simply don't see it as it accords with their own world view.

OK - the examples are too numerous to mention but they've done it again in the last hour. The Australian has cleared up the ABC run story about the Somali illegals alleging they were tortured and mistreated by navy personnel. The story this morning closes the file and really puts pressure on the ABC to make an unqualified apology to the navy

TWO Somalis at the centre of grave allegations against the Australian navy in recent turn-back operations admit their burns were sustained during clashes with the sailors, who in one case had been forced to prevent asylum-seekers scuttling their boat. The ABC last week reported claims by asylum-seekers that they were "beaten" by navy personnel "and told to hold on to parts of a hot engine on a boat being towed back to Indonesia".

How has the ABC responded? With an apology? No. With a retraction? No.

The ABC posted this a few minutes ago - yet more unsubstantiated allegations by people acting illegally:

New details have emerged about a boat interception operation earlier this month, with one asylum seeker saying Navy personnel sprayed him in the eyes.

A Somali asylum seeker has told the ABC that there were angry protests when people found out the boat was being turned around and they were being returned to Indonesia.

He alleges that during the onboard argument he suffered burns when he came into contact with a hot engine after an Australian sailor sprayed him in the eyes.

So, Toll, it is not a question of not running "right wing" stories. That is a silly thing to say. It is all about running stories accurately and without the left wing prism that affects all their political journalism.
