I did mention somewhere that when VUL took off it rose from 16c to $8 without any opportunity to buy at a peak and then rebuy at a lower level. It was in relation to an argument about selling on peaks and rebuying on dips. The strategy I was advocating was to just buy low and hold. Your strategy was to sell LKE at 20c because you argued that the price had risen too much and would fall back to 16.5c. Maybe it will but so far your strategy has prevented you from selling at 40c or to be where I am holding at 30c.
As to principle what principle we are people trying to make money by transferring money from our bank accounts to the market and back again. I dont think that we should confuse that activity with anything principled.
