heroin use increasing in australia, page-2

Drugs have a demand problem rather than a supply problem.

For example, you could try to sell me heroin for $1 a tonne and I would not buy it let alone use it.

I have no need for it.

Therefore, the way to rescue the world from heroin is to work on the demand side rather than on the supply side.

The Afgans live in poverty and a servicing their basic subsistance needs.

However westerners, such as Australian, have vast material wealth but are still abusing eachother physically, sexually and psychologically, which causes the demand for heroin.

An example of this tendency towards violence is when a person's mind that is clouded by violent tendencies thinks: "It would be quite simple to say bomb the whole area, napalm the place and destroy the poppy farms. And no clear thinking person in the world would disagree."

    I disagree.

The problem is around you in Australia and within you.

Afganistan is thousands of miles away.

Heroin problems commenced in the western world and in Australia during the Vietnam War, when the USA trafficed heroin to raise funds to finance the war.

Subprime was caused by Iraq War.(see http://www.theaustralian.news.com.au/story/0,25197,23286149-2703,00.html )

Sort your own problems out Larry and leave Afganistan alone.
